We were twenty when we met, and here we are both thirty.  Some days it seems like yesterday, and then again, I feel like I’ve known you forever.  You’ve changed my life- for the better, and now I couldn’t imagine my life without you.  I used to worry and fret so much over insignificant things and you’ve helped me see above them.  You help me focus on the positive side of my realistic personality and look at life’s possibilities rather than problems.  There’s one thing I’m convinced of- I couldn’t be the person I am today without you walking next to me.

You are a man I admire more than anyone.  You challenge me and motivate me to be more like Christ on a daily basis.  You have a way of seeing through the clutter and focusing on what matters most- whether it be dealing with a theological question or helping me with a parenting issue.

You are one of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met (and I’m not just saying that because you’re my husband).  Your heart for the lost and the broken is a testimony of a heart that’s been molded by God.

You are such a servant to me always putting my needs, my desires above your own.  I often feel so undeserving of your unconditional love.  Thank you for exemplifying Christ in our marriage, in our family.

I’m so thankful we get to be on this adventure called life together.  I know it will only get better as we grow older together.  I love you so much.  Happy Birthday.
