It’s when I’m walking through a library, a bookstore (do they really exist anymore?), or browse through Amazon.com that I can’t help but ask this question.
Content is out there. The good, the bad, and exceptionally great content is at our fingertips. Everywhere we look someone has written something notable and newsworthy.
You can find something worth reading in blog posts, magazines, ebooks, or print books. There’s not much of a shortage.
So why do we need more?
I would argue that a fresh voice and a fresh take on an old idea is always good and useful. There are things I’ve heard over and over again, but when I hear it in a fresh and new way, my paradigm changes. It’s like I’ve heard it for the first time. It stretches me and challenges my thinking.
What do you think? Why do we need more books?
