Hey Friend,
I want to let you in on a little secret. You know that thing you want? That area you want to improve in? That dream you long for?
Those aren’t there by accident.
They’re in you for a reason.
You see, you were created by God. You were uniquely formed and designed by Him for a purpose. And until we pursue that which we were created for, we will never find the satisfaction we long for. (Trust me, I tried.)
God gave you desires and dreams that are unique to you, your personality, and gifts. When left untapped or unfulfilled, they will create a chasm in your heart.
A divide.
Your reality on one side; your destiny on the other. And the more time that goes by, the greater the divide can get.
But there is Hope.
No matter how much time has lapsed, or how hard we’ve resisted, we can start over again. Maybe even for the first time.
You can decide today that you want to live the life you were created to live. And today can be a new day. This year can be the year that changes everything for you, your family, maybe an entire generation.
The decisions you make today will affect your tomorrow. So why not make decisions that matter? After all, this is YOUR destiny we’re talking about. And only YOU have the ability to live it out.
The hard lesson I’ve learned is that it’s better to take the hard road of becoming who we were created to be, than sit on the sidelines of life never experiencing the satisfaction that comes with living out our purpose.
So whether you’re facing the New Year with anticipation and expectancy, or apprehension and fear, decide today to pursue your purpose and create a plan to get there. What’ve you got to lose?
