Coming off the Christmas season, it has become even more clear.
It stresses me out and gives me a headache.
– At the beginning of Christmas season, we are shopping for others.
– At the end of it, we are sometimes given money to shop for ourselves.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love giving gifts and I like having nice and new things, but it’s the getting it part- the acquiring it. That’s my problem.
Sometimes I fake it and sometimes I want to like it, but there are certain times of the year that reveal who my true self is.
I am just not a shopper.
In my dream world I would hire a personal shopper. This person would possess the skill of being able to read my mind, know my body type, and knowledgable of the latest fashion trends all at an affordable price (remember this is my dream world).
My problem- even though I don’t like the shopping part, I’m quite picky with what I will wear. While I like keeping up with the latest styles, there are some I just won’t go near. For example- you will probably never see me in a pair of colored jeans. And navajo prints? You’ve got to be kidding me. I’m especially picky about my shoes and boots (and as strange as it is- so is my husband).
Oh well, it’s fun to dream sometimes.
So for those of you ladies who do like to shop, help a girl out. What would you buy if your husband gave you $200 and you could only spend it on clothes for yourself?
What about you? Shopper or Personal Shopper?
