31dayspicMost of us would agree that it’s not the amount of friends we have but the depth of our friendships that satisfies the longing we have for connection. Yet so often we get caught up in the many. We may have 400 “friends” on Facebook or a thousand followers on Twitter, but I dare not call all of them true friends.

In a culture driven by social media it’s even more important to have deeper connection with a few. For someone to know what’s really going on- not just the highlights. If someone only knew me by what I posted publicly they wouldn’t truly know me. We pick and choose what we want to be public about. And we all have a privacy line somewhere (at least we should).
